BMW is working on its M6 Coupe, which will replace the existing Z4 GT3 racer, which could become the brand’s up and coming racing contender in the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship. The new car is expected to begin testing early next year, which will make the car available to consumers just in time for the 2016 season. Plan to get your very own M6 Coupe at JMK BMW in 2016 or check out our current models.
A BMW’s spokesman would not give actual confirmation for the replacement of the five-year-old Z4, or if it was already in development, but did confirm a revamp of the GT3. "There will be a new GT3 car at a certain time," he said.
The auto dealer has decided to use the BMW M6 Coupe to replace the Z4 GT3 racer because the Z4 is not up for a model replacement until 2017. Also, with BMW North America preparing to celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2015, it is almost certain that the IMSA championship program will gain confirmation to be continued next season.
