If you’ve ever wanted to race around the track at high speeds in high performance vehicles, now’s your chance! BMW is offering its Ultimate Driving Experience in major cities around the United States, including Dallas, Miami, Seattle, New York and many more. BMW is also offering the performance instruction to teenagers. What better way to learn to drive than to do it in the fast lane?
BMW took the children, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren of automotive journalists and put them on the track. In all, 14 teens spent the weekend at the BMW Performance Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina where BMW’s US factory is located. During those two days, teens learned to drive like the pros.
Adults can learn, too. Each session will last nine days. Two of those days are reserved for teens (ages 21 and under). Registrants must have a valid license or learner’s permit. If you’re hoping to get on the list, you better hurry. Each session is open to 24 people on a first come, first serve basis.
Derek A. Leonard, who participated in the teen weekend in Spartanburg, summed up the BMW experience with a simple phrase:
“We are on the Kool-Aid,” he said. “I really believe in this stuff.”
