The BMW 1-Series recently received a much-needed styling upgrade (and some mechanical changes as well), making it much more recognizable on the road. The headlights are slimmer and integrated into the front of the car, and larger taillights scream aggression from the rear end. LED lights are an option now too. The entire car looks more sleek and modernized on the outside and has a few minor changes inside.
Sorry, fellow Americans, but we won’t get to see the all-new BMW 1-Series anytime soon; they’re not yet available here. The 1.5-liter three-cylinder engines are only available in Europe. That’s not to say it won’t make its way overseas soon enough. Within the next few years, it’ll be in the States as a competitor for the Audi A3, among others. The all-new BMW 1-Series will make its official debut entrance at the Geneva Motor Show in March. Even if you can’t buy one in the United States, it’s worth keeping up with. There’s always a chance the tech in the 1-Series could end up in other models.
