Earlier this month, BMW officially opened its newest Vehicle Distribution Center at the Port of Baltimore. The center will service dealers in the Central and Eastern regions of the United States.
The Center is responsible for vehicle inspections when the models arrive here in the States as well as programming, maintenance, repairs, and accessory installation. By the end of 2016, the new facility will have processed 166,000 vehicles, solidifying BMW’s lead as the East Coast’s largest car processing port.
“BMW Group year-to-date sales in the U.S. set a new benchmark, topping 246,000 vehicles in the first eight months of this year, and we are full of confidence that we will follow our success through the remaining months of 2014,” said Ludwig Willisch, president and CEO for BMW of North America. “For us at BMW, there is nothing more important than the satisfaction of our customers, and this Vehicle Distribution Center will play a critical role in keeping our customers happy with a full supply of new BMW vehicles for them to enjoy.”
If we don’t have the model you want here at JMK BMW, BMW’s new distribution center now makes it possible to have the vehicle delivered sooner rather than later.
