BMW is offering driving classes that will help drivers fine-tune their driving skills and become safer motorists. The automaker’s Ultimate Driving Experience includes a couple of clinics targeted towards teenage drivers, those who love performance cars, motorcyclists, and other potential BMW customers.
The company just recently held one of these clinics in the Citi Field parking lot in Queens. Its large size was beneficial, as teen drivers were sent off to one corner, people who wanted to try out BMW models on an autocross course were sent to another, and steel hill was set up at another end of the parking lot to practice hill driving in a crossover. Additionally, 16 current BMW owners paid $650 to take part in the Car Control Clinic. During the course, the attendees learned how to operate new BMW M cars and push them to their limits.
The New York Times reports that “at the end of the course, participants congratulated one another on a job well done as they received their certificates of completion from BMW’s instructors.” The certificates were reminders of the safe practices that the attendees had learned. You can enjoy your own “driving class” when you test drive a new BMW here at JMK BMW!
