We invite BMW and sports car enthusiasts alike to rejoice as BMW has announced the all-new M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe models, the new generation of the brand’s previously renowned M3 line. If you’re a fan of performance cars, like most of us here at JMK BMW, then you must have at some point in your life been a fan of the legendary M3, which Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson is famously quoted to describe as “the best car, and always will be, and there’s no point in ever thinking otherwise.”
Under the new, long curved hood is a selection of inline-6 engines, including an all-new 3.0-liter block that weighs in approximately 10 kilograms lighter than its V8 predecessor while providing even more power. With up to 425 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque, drivers will be able to blast from naught-to-60 mph in a mere 3.9 seconds. That’s enough to whet our appetites but unfortunately that’s also all BMW has chosen to reveal at this time.
Thankfully, more details will be shared soon at the North American International Auto Show. Stay tuned to find out!
