Although this more than 300 horsepower BMW hatchback will most likely not be sold here in the U.S. anytime soon, we wanted to share the future of BMW with you.
BMW's release says only that the M135i will boast a "straight six-cylinder... featuring M Performance Twin Power Turbo technology" and an output of more than 300 horsepower.
The BMW 135i Concept will be the first gasoline-powered BMW M Performance vehicle. Currently the M550d xDrive, and the X5 and X6 M50d models are all powered by diesel engines.
As mentioned before, the M135i will not be coming to North America, but coupe and convertible models based off this design are much more likely. BMW officials have hinted that the 1 Series wwould seem like a great fit for the new M Performance group.
Look for more photos and details about the M135i Concept when it fully debuts at the Geneva Show on March 6th.
